According to a new poll, the support for marijuana legalization has grown across race, gender, and age groups, and even political parties, except for one.. the Republican party.

A poll from Quinnipiac University that was released this week has found that 62% of Republican voters oppose marijuana legislation and only 33% support it.

When you compare this to 58% of Americans agreeing that marijuana should be legal and that 91% believe medicinal marijuana should be legal, that number is very depressing.

85% of Republicans however do think adults should use marijuana legally for medicinal reasons and 95% of Democrats support the same thing.
