Canopy Growth has been shining in the spotlight this month since Constellation Brands made a staggering $4 billion investment into the Canadian marijuana company.

The company’s CEO Bruce Linton has some lofty goals. While he says the company is ahead of rival in becoming the leading brand in legal marijuana, he still sees room for improvement.

“Maybe that mentality is what’s got us ahead of the pact,” he explained to CNBC in a “Squawk Box” interview.

“When I need to find information, I use Google. When I think about web services, I use Amazon,” said Linton.

“There’s going to be a dominate leading company and we are not that yet,” Linton remarked.

According to Linton, Constellation Brand’s investment has been “rocket fuel” for the company.

Canopy Growth has also partnered with names such as Snoop Dogg.
