Driving high may not be as bad yet as driving intoxicated by alcohol, but Colorado is becoming more and more concerned about the problem.

Government officials in the state as well as the state’s marijuana industry are teaming up to address the issue.

The state and the marijuana industry are creating a new project together that allows residents to participate in a “Cannabis Conversation” by taking an online survey. The survey is designed to find out how state residents feel about drugged driving.

The results will help public officials figure out a way to reduce drugged driving in the state.

In 2016, there were 77 fatal wrecks that had involved drivers who had marijuana’s THC in their bloodstream, said the Colorado Department of Transportation.
