It was this week that Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper saw a bill on his desk that would allow the state to have public cannabis cafes.
The bill would allow the licensing of public cannabis cafes where patrons could consume small amounts of the drug.
Unfortunately, the governor vetoed the bill. Had he passed it, it would have made Colorado the very first state in the nation to have such a law.
While marijuana is legal in many states either on a recreational or medicinal level, there is still no place for users to use it in public.
