Utopia All Natural Wellness Spa and Lounge is the first marijuana spa in the United States to submit an application for a Denver social marijuana use license.
The company submitted an application for a Denver Cannabis Consumption Establishment license for a spa in the Creswell Mansion, 1244 Grant St. in Colorado.
The location is a historic mansion that is just blocks away from Colorado’s state Capital.
“It’s been a long process and I’ve worked really hard to get all my ducks in a row, so I am happy,” said CEO Cindy Sovine to The Cannabist.
Utopia has plans to offer cannabis-infused massages and ganja yoga. It will be open to the public but also offer private memberships for sale which allows access to designated cannabis consumption areas.
“The whole idea is to create social opportunities to bring people together,” explained Sovine.
