Floridians who are in a hurry to get their pot may not have to fret much longer.
Curaleaf will be added a new store with a drive through option in Palm Harbor, which is just northwest of Tampa. The company also has retail outlets, without a drive through, in Miami-Dade and Lake Worth.

This will be the very first drive-thru dispensary according to the company and will open at 35388 US Highway North in Palm Harbor.

“We are piloting the drive-thru concept in Palm Harbor to provide our patients, several of which have physical disabilities, with another option for access and convenience,’’ said Lindsay Jones, president of Curaleaf Florida.

The new store will also provide same-day or next-day delivery in the counties of Pasco, Hernando, Citrus, Levy, Marion, Sumter, Northern Pinellas and Hillsborough.

The Dadeland store also offers free deliveries in Miami-Dade, Monroe, Broward, Palm Beach counties.

Curaleaf will also be offering an educational session “Medical Cannabis 101,” in order for consumers to be more educated about medical marijuana.
