A marijuana soda start up company called California Dreamin’ has a cannabis-infused sparkling promegranate juice that could be a big hit soon.
The bottle reads, “Enjoy a light, social high,” and it is an alcohol alternative that can still get you feeling…. great.. Just without a hangover the next morning.
Each bottle of the drink has 10 milligrams of THC, which is the industry-standard dose of the psychoactive chemical in marijuana.
California Dreamin’ only uses sativa which is a more energizing rather than body relaxing marijuana variety.
“We want it to be a light, head high feel,” stated Amy Ludlum, who is the co-founder of Cities Beverage Company which is also known as California Dreamin’.
She also said, “We don’t want to give anyone couch lock. We want it to be social.”
There are other flavors too including tangerine, grapefruit, and cranberry apple. Each bottle ranges from around $8 to $10 retail.
