Mexico is going to make a very big and a very historical purchases. The state of Mexico will be buying Medical Marijuana Inc.’s HempMeds Mexico products for its citizens.

This marks the first time that Mexico’s government has purchased CBD products for its citizens and will start with 11 epilepsy patients and cancer patients.

State of Mexico Governor Eruviel Avila distributed HempMeds Mexico’s flagship product Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X™ to the first 11 epilepsy and cancer patients already at the inauguration of a new hospital in the State of Mexico this past Thursday.

According to a report by Brightfield Group and HelloMD, almost half of cannabidiol patients stop using traditional medicines. They have forecast that the total cannabidiol market will reach $467 million in 2017.

HempMeds® Mexico is the now the very first company to receive government import permits for a cannabis product via approval by the Mexican Health Department, COFEPRIS.
