According to the views of residents in the city of San Diego in southern California, marijuana is less of a health hazard than smoking cigarettes are.
Legal recreational sales started in California on January 1st and it’s been proven to be good for the state’s economy.
According to a poll of 600 participants, almost half of them believe that legislation has been good for society and 43% believe that marijuana is generally good for a person’s health.
27% of the respondents have said that they used marijuana daily since the start of legalization.
The poll was conducted by SurveyUSA on April 19th to April 20th in San Diego County. There is a potential error rate of plus or minus 5.4 percentage points in the results.
