The Marijuana industry has been roaring in recent years, enough so that people are wanting to get educations in the field.

There may not be too many schools right now offering an education in marijuana, but Northern Michigan University is however.

According to the Detroit Free Press, the university is offering the very first four-year degree addressing the how’s and science of growing marijuana.

The program began just this semester and has classes that include organic chemistry, biostatistics, accounting, and financial management says the Free Press.

It will be in December that Michigan begins to issue new licenses for growing, testing, transporting, and the sale of medical marijuana.
