A huge marijuana bust recently uncovered that $22 million worth of marijuana had been shipped through FedEx to businesses and homes in New York’s Bronx and New Rochelle areas.

The authorities allege that there was 6,600 pounds of the drug passed through the trafficking ring that is called Operation Green Giant.

Ten people are facing federal charges in the case. According to court records, one man had $230,000 at San Francisco international Airport. FedEx has even 330 suspected pot shipments on record.

FedEx spokesman Davina Cole said, “We comply with all applicable federal, state and local regulations, and cooperate with law enforcement authorities in their investigations of criminal activity involving our services or network.”

New York Drug Enforcement Administration Special-Agent-in-Charge James Hunt remarked, “That’s a big budget margin for a drug trafficker.”
