According to a poll out of British Columbia, Canada, 3 out of 5 people believe in cannabis testing at work.

Mario Canseco of Research Co. has said that the poll also found that the older you are, the more likely you are in support of this. According to Canseco, the polling his company did connects the opinion to age.

Three out of five British Columbians say that companies in B.C. should be able to administer drug tests to any employee now that cannabis is legal.

Drug testing in Canada is essentially for workers where safety is a factor.

“It goes all the way to 68 per cent for those who are 55 and over,” Canseco says. “A little bit lower with millennials and Generation X.”
