The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Commission has approved the scoring results for dispensary applicants this week and has started the process of awarding dispensary licenses.
According to a spokesperson for the Department of Finance and Administration, letters of intent to award licenses will be send by Monday. Out of 198 applicants, 32 will receive a dispensary license.
Fayetteville, West Memphis, Pine Bluff, Hot Springs, Fort Smith, Bentonville and Texarkana are expected to receive multiple dispensaries.
