It’s been over three years since Massachusetts voted to legalize marijuana and now one of the state’s most popular cities will be getting its very first dispensary.

Boston’s first recreational marijuana dispensary will open Monday. “We are excited to reach this important moment where we will open our doors as the first retail cannabis business in Boston and as the first economic empowerment candidate in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts,” said Kobie Evans and Kevin Hart, the co-owners of Pure Oasis.

The dispensary, which is located at 430 Blue Hill Ave., received its final license from the CCC last month and is slated to become the state’s 40th store to sell recreational marijuana.

According to a recent Boston Globe report, the dispensary is expecting up to 1,000 customers a day and has rented space next door to accommodate up to 100 people waiting in line indoors.

The company’s menu says it will offer marijuana flower, oil, and infused edibles. The store will accept cash, debit, or credit cards. There are plans to allow online pre-orders.
