It was just last week that Massachusetts was able to begin recreational marijuana sales with its first two recreational marijuana dispensaries opening in Leicester and Northampton.

The two dispensaries made $2.2 million in their first five days of selling products with Black Friday bringing in almost 500,000 that day.

Massachusetts gets $376,995 in tax revenue and the two dispensary locations will get $66,528 in local taxes from those five days.

The state is expected to open three new dispensaries in Salem, Easthampton, and Wareham over the next couple of weeks.
