James William Buffett, who is more known as Jimmy Buffet, has launched his own brand of medical marijuana.
The “Margaritaville” singer, who often portrays an “island escapism” lifestyle, has launched ‘Coral Reefer’, which offers tropically inspired cannabis products.
‘Coral Reefer,’ is now available at Surterra Wellness Centers across Florida and there are four different potencies, titled ‘Seas the Day,’ ‘Cabana Daydreamin’,’ ‘Stories We Could Tell,’ and ‘Surfin’ In a Hurricane.’
The brand plans on expanding its product line sometime later this year.
“It never dawned on me that Coral Reefer would be anything other than a cool name for a tropical band born out of the Key West lifestyle in the mid-’70s,” Buffett says in a news release. “But life is supposed to be about having fun and staying healthy enough to enjoy it.”
Buffett adds: “I think Coral Reefer will help a lot of folks do that.”
