Strippers and marijuana. For some people this is the perfect combination.
It seems that the first licensed marijuana dispensary in San Bernardino, California may soon be sharing its address with a strip club called Flesh Showgirls.
City officials have approved a dispensary permit for the location of the first licensed medical marijuana dispensary but it’s now occupied by the strip club.
According to city spokeswoman Monica Lagos, the permit has been appealed.
The permit was issued on Thursday, Aug. 24 to SB License 01 LLC, which is registered to the Flesh Showgirls address at 100 W. Hospitality Lane.
According to Roger Jon Diamond, the lawyer defending the dispensary owner, they’re ready to set up shop on Hospitality Lane despite the ongoing legal challenges.
He said, “The city has not asked for an injunction. We have a clear pathway to open.”
