When it comes to being in court, many are often anxious and putting on their best face to not anger the judge.
One Tennessee man threw caution to the wind and decided that at his court appearance, he would smoke a little marijuana.
Spencer Boston had to make a court appearance on a charge of simple possession.
He was arrested on Monday after lighting a marijuana cigarette right in the courtroom.
When called to discuss his case before General Sessions Judge Haywood Barry, Spencer talked about how marijuana needed to be legalized. He then reached into his pocket and pulled out what appeared to be a rolled marijuana cigarette, put it in his mouth, lit it with a match, and proceeded to smoke it.
While the people in the court room laughed at his antics, he was taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and simple possession of a Schedule VI drug.
