Colorado was the first state in the United States to legalize marijuana recreation-ally.

The state has had round 18,000 new jobs formed since then. These are not your average minimum wage jobs but average paying jobs that pay around $15-20 an hour. There are grow masters and store managers that are able to see earnings of up to $100,000 a year.

This is an industry that is creating a lot of job growth and according to a report from Bloomberg, legal weed has caused some service-oriented industries to struggle in finding employees. This includes restaurants who pay minimum wage and cannot compete in the wages being offered by the marijuana sector.

New Frontier Data has also shown that marijuana legalization could create nearly a quarter of a million jobs in the next few years.
It may be time to change jobs!
