One thing you don’t hear too often is someone calling the cops because they found a giant tiger in an abandoned house.
According to police in Houston, some people who had went into an abandoned home to smoke marijuana were given a huge surprise.
They found a caged tiger in the house and called police. The police, as well as the major offender animal cruelty unity and animal shelter volunteers were on the scene.
The tiger was nicknamed “Tyson” by authorities (Think “The Hangover”) and according to officials who spoke to KHOU-TV, the tiger was well fed.
The cage however was only secured by a nylon strap and a screw driver.
The tiger was taken to an animal shelter and will be transferred to an undisclosed animal sanctuary in Texas.
It’s illegal to have a tiger in Houston.
