The Massachusetts city of Framingham has approved a marijuana ice cream maker.

The city has cleared the way for a marijuana-infused ice cream maker and other cannabis businesses this week.

According to a MetroWest Daily News report, the Cloud Creamery, an ice cream producer run by Boston chef David Yusefzadeh, has passed the city’s screening process.

Yusefzadeh intends to make cannabis-infused ice cream for hospitals, other medical facilities and dispensaries.

Framingham also instated a cap of six on the number of dispensaries that can open in the city last year. Now, only two more dispensaries can be approved.
