Governor Chris Christie’s administration just issued a permit to grow medical marijuana to Harmony Foundation, a non profit located on Meadowland Parkway in Secaucus.

The foundation operates a 10,000 square foot facility and plans to serve up to 4,000 patients monthly. There are currently 13,2000 patients in New Jersey that are registered to purchase medical marijuana.

The site will be New Jersey’s largest dispensary of medical marijuana.

“After two years of designing and constructing this state-of-the-art facility, we are excited to finally put it into action,” said Shaya Brodchandel, Harmony’s president and CEO.

According to Brodchandel, the strains selected “are well suited for New Jersey medical patients’ conditions and to our unique growing system.”

After the center opens, the state will have six marijuana dispensaries total.
