Miley Cyrus is smoking pot again and its because of her mother.
The 26-year old singer told The Sun that after swearing off marijuana in 2017, her mother, Tish Cyrus, is the one who reintroduced her to it.
“My mom got me back on it. When I’m just working I don’t think I function at my highest, most intelligent, most being-able-to-be-as-aware-and-as-present, so I don’t smoke when I work.”
She also said, “My dad’s got a farm and she’s like ‘I’m just going to quit everything and grow.’ She’s my manager. So if my mom quits everything, that’s quitting me to go home and, like, grow weed. Which doesn’t sound like the best idea. … My mom could barely keep us alive. She’s not going to grow pot.”
Cyrus recently lost her house during the California wildfires. She wrote on social media during the time, “I am one of the lucky ones,” she wrote. “My animals and LOVE OF MY LIFE made it out safely & that’s all that matters right now. My house no longer stands but the memories shared with family & friends stand strong … Sending so much love and gratitude to the firefighters and LA country Sheriff’s department!”
