The CEO of the parent company to independent publisher and event producer MJBizDaily, is launching a podcast series that aims to help cannabis entrepreneurs.

Titled “Seed to CEO,” the weekly podcast will feature MJBizDaily CEO Chris Walsh, who will have long conversations with cannabis executives in the space who will share their tips and strategies on how they became successful in the business.

The first three podcast episodes are already live and feature conversations with Margot M. Micallef, he founder and CEO of Gaby. She discusses her strategy to become a dominant cannabis retail chain in California.

The next is James Lathrop, CEO of Cannabis City in Seattle, who talks about how he competes as a single-location recreational cannabis store.

And third is Chris Ball of Ball Family Farms in Los Angeles, who discusses the steps he took to transition from the illicit market to the legal cannabis sector.

Walsh is the founding editor of MJBizDaily, which launched in 2011. He was the first journalist in the United States to focus exclusively on covering the business of cannabis.
