Netflix is jumping into the marijuana game by partnering up with creative agency Carrot and a California cannabis dispensary called Alternative Herbal Health Services (AHHS).

The three are joining forces to produce weed themed around several of Netflix’s TV series.

Marijuana in limited edition packaging was on sale last weekend in a pop-up shop in West Hollywood that promoted the streaming giant’s new how Disjointed. The show is set in a cannabis dispensary.

Many of the company’s shows were given their own dedicated strain of marijuana including Orange is the New Black, and Arrested Development.

According to Jonathan Santoro who is the executive creative director at Carrot, neither his studio nor Netflix “physically touched the flower”. Neither one sold it either technically.

AHHS was the one to handle the marijuana and package it into Carrot’s design and then sell it.

Attorneys for Netflix were also involved, and worked with the state of California and the city of West Hollywood to make sure the company was acting within the law.
