There’s a new bill that is giving hope to many parents in California.
Despite marijuana being legal for recreational sales in the Golden State, it is still not allowed to smoke it in public, or school for that matter.
A new bill would allow California minors that have special needs or severe disabilities to use marijuana for medical purposes at school.
According to state senator Jerry Hill, who introduced the bill, the new legislation allows a parent or guardian to administer the drug in the form of oil, capsules, tinctures, liquids or topical creams on school campuses where the practice has been approved by the county board of education.
