Australian actress Olivia Newton-John who is widely known for her role as Sandy in the film Grease, has cancer again and is using medical marijuana to help treat it.
The 68 year old singer and actress is suffering from breast cancer again and had announced back in May that it had returned.
She had first been diagnosed with breast cancer in 1992 and had underwent chemotherapy as well as a partial mastectomy.
The cancer has now metastasized to the sacrum, a bone in the lower half of her back.
“I use medicinal cannabis, which is really important for pain and healing,” Newton-John explained. “It’s a plant that has been maligned for so long, and has so many abilities to heal.”
Hopefully she beats cancer again!
