Lawmakers in the state of Michigan have approved permanent medical marijuana licensing rules this week.

One of the new rules is a provision that will allow marijuana dispensaries to delivery marijuana to patient cardholder’s homes.

Licensed shops will be able to deliver up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana per patient and do up to 10 deliveries at a time. Another new rule approved is that the purchasing limit is now 10 ounces a month for qualifying patients.

The Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs also said this week that it will not close 98 medical marijuana businesses across the state before Dec. 31st. if they do not have a state license but have received authorization from their local municipality.
