While he only spent about 10 days in the White House, former White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci has projected that President Trump will legalize marijuana after the midterms.

Scaramucci has said that the president is pushing for marijuana legislation but not until the upcoming elections are over.

He said in an interview with Succeed.com founder Charles Peralo recently, “I do. I think he’s going to legalize marijuana. I think he’s waiting for after the midterms. I think he’s on the side of legalization.”

It was in October that Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) also said in an interview that cannabis reform would be on the White House agenda after the midterms. She also said that legislation would be in the works “as early as spring of 2019.”

“I would expect after the election we will sit down and we’ll start hammering out something that is specific and real,” Rohrabacher added.
