According to new research, more and more older Americans are opting to smoke marijuana.
Researchers Yu Ye, William Ker, and Camillia Lui, have found through integrated 30 years of survey data from over 40,000 participants, that more older Americans are choosing to smoke pot.
The survey respondents reported whether they had used the drug in the last twelve months. It was American users in the age bracket of 50 to 59 and 60 and older that showed a significant rise.
Compared with Americans three decades ago, these users are twenty times more likely to use the drug.
