Who would have thought that it would be hard to find employees who haven’t smoked marijuana before? This is apparently the case for the Secret Service.

According to the agency’s new director, Randolph Alles, he has become so exasperated with this that he has now relaxed on the agendy’s drug policy when it comes to hiring new employees.

Mr. Alles has been the agency’s new director for less than three months and already many people are cheering at him being more lenient towards the hiring of job candidate who have experimented with marijuana in the past.

People shouldn’t get too excited though. The agency will give consideration to these job candidates by also looking at the length of time the person has not used the drug.

Applicants who are under 24 years old must show that they have not used cannabis for a period of a year. Candidates 28 years and older are expected to have not used marijuana for at least five years.

How does one show this though, I wonder.
