It only took two days for the very first medicinal marijuana dispensary in Kansas City, Missouri to sell out of product.

According to a Kansas City Star report, the Fresh Green dispensary in Lee Summit was sold out by the end of the day on Tuesday when its doors only opened on Monday. The shop had served about 500 customers in that time span.

According to the dispensary’s owner Bianca Sullivan, most people had waited about 90 minutes to even 2 hours to be able to purchase items. Sullivan, who owns the store along with her husband, is hoping to get another delivery within 5-10 days from its St. Louis area grower.

Other Kansas City-area dispensaries are expected to open in the coming weeks. Two dispensaries owned by N’Bliss in St. Louis County became the first to open in Missouri.

The state has approved 65,000 patients so far for the medical marijuana program. Another 12,000 await approval to get on the list.

N’Bliss CEO Bradford Goette told Fox 2 in St. Louis: “The patients there are so excited to be able to finally get the medicine they need and deserved for so long.”
