A Sonic Drive-In in Gulfport, Mississippi is taking action against marijuana smokers in its drive-thru.
The restaurant has posted a laminated sign on its window that tells customers that marijuana smoking in the drive-thru will not be allowed.
The sign reads: “ATTENTION: If you are smoking weed in the drive thru you will not be served! Please show some common courtesy and smoke and air out before pulling up to order.”
The notice is signed “Management.”
According to Yasman Freeman who spoke to the Sun Herald, the sign was posted about two weeks ago and was posted after a customer of the facility blew smoke into an underage employee’s face.
Freeman also says her employees are tired of the smell of marijuana when they take orders at the drive-thru window.
“There have also been a lot of pictures (of the sign) taken,” Freeeman remarked.
