According to a study out of Denver, users of marijuana are more prone to wanting to sleep than to go out and party.
The survey, which was conducted by Consumer Research Around Cannabis, concluded that next to sleep, pain relief are the main reasons why people use marijuana.
The survey asked 1,258 marijuana users in the Denver metropolitan area as well as parts around Wyoming and Nebraska.
According to the findings, 47.2% of the respondents bought marijuana so it could help them sleep. The same amount of respondents said they use the plant to treat chronic or recurring pain. This is compared to 28.5% saying they use the drug to have a good time with family and friends. 32.8% of the respondents said they use the drug for creative purposes.
