Some Colorado cities could be making it easy for people to order marijuana like they do pizza.

According to Denver Post’s Cannabist website, there has been a bill proposed in the state’s legislature that would set up a test program for home delivery from marijuana dispensaries.

Rep. Jonathan Singer, Democrat, has sponsored the bill as well as Rep. Jovan Melton, Democrat, and Sen. Tim Neville, Republican.

The bill would authorize the state to sign memorandums of understanding with up to three Colorado cities who would allow a trial run starting September of this year in which marijuana would be delivered.

“We’re not breaking new ground in Colorado on this,” Singer told the Post. “This time we let another state be the guinea pig, and we haven’t seen the negative effects from regulated delivery.”

That state is Oregon.

The bill would allow Colorado to issue a total of 15 licenses to dispensaries in three jurisdictions.
