According to police, a good Samaritan has turned in a gym bag filled with a “huge amount of cannabis” that was found in Braintree, Massachusetts.
“Anyone (lose) a gym bag containing a huge amount of cannabis near 5 corners last night?” a post from the police read. “Don’t panic, a Good Samaritan found it in the road and brought it to our station.”
Police said someone found the Nike backpack in the middle of the road early Tuesday morning near 470 West St.
Inside were two large plastic bags full of what police believe to be marijuana. Each bag weighed 1 pound each.
The police are urging the owner to go to the station to claim the bag.
