Douglas County in Omaha has just had one of its “top 10 busts” for the agency.

Deputies have seized 462 pounds of marijuana and hundreds of vials of hash oil, from a 31-year old California woman this week.

The marijuana has an estimated street value of over $2 million while the hash oil has an estimated value of $21,000.

Tom Wheeler, Douglas County Chief Deputy Sheriff is the one that referred to the bust as a “top 10 bust” for the agency.

The woman, who was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe that was hauling a U-Haul trailer, was pulled over for a traffic violation on Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 80 near 108th Street.

The woman, who says she was traveling from California to Michigan, was booked on suspicion of possession with intent to deliver and failure to affix a tax stamp.
