Anything is possible these days and one weed company is proving that with a plane that not only was built from hemp but is powered by cannabis oil.

Canada-based marijuana company Hempearth has created the world’s first plane that is made mostly from hemp and is powered by cannabis oil.

The company, which sells other weed-related items such as food, clothing, and accessories, claims that the plane is much stronger, lighter, and much more environmentally friendly than normal planes.

A majority of the plane was created from composite hemp fibers that are said to be 10 times stronger than steel. This includes not only the chassis, but also everything inside of the plane as well, including the seats, walls, and cushions.

The plane spans only 36 feet but can fit five people including a pilot.

“In addition to being one of the world’s healthiest, and most versatile plants on earth, hemp is pound for pound 10 times stronger than steel,” said Hempearth on its website.

“This means that it can withstand a lot more weight before and breaks, and it can bend way further than metal. Great for Aviation.”
