Charlotte Caldwell has made headlines for being the mother who had her supply of cannabis oil taken away from her that she recently obtained in Canada.

Border officials had taken away the marijuana-infused oil when she tried to enter the country on Monday.

Caldwell has explained that her 12-year old autistic son desperately needs the cannabis oil in order to prevent dangerous epileptic seizures.

Speaking at a news conference she said, “I will just go back to Canada and get more and I will bring it back again, because my son has a right to have his anti-epileptic medication in his country, in his own home.”

Cannabis oil is currently banned in the country of England.
