With the stigma of marijuana falling more and more as the years go by, the stereotypical association of lazy young people using marijuana are disappearing.
A survey from cannabis technology company Eaze has found that today, the likely modern marijuana user is a woman, and a parent at that.
The company has concluded that their consumers are highly educated as well as employed and well off. Incomes that were reported from respondents were $75,000 or higher.
The survey also found that more women than man had reported to using cannabis daily and that one in five of their users on the survey was a parent. The survey found that 63% of the parents report using cannabis everyday.
The company’s head of PR Sheena Shiravi told Refinery29, “It’s not surprising to think that parents are using cannabis every day. Think about how often a mom reaches for glass of wine or takes Tylenol or pain killer for a headache or back pain.”
