Mothers usually wait with open arms for bouquets of flowers on Mother’s day but this year, they may be waiting for marijuana.

Mother’s day is around the corner and one of the hottest gifts of 2019 may be cannabis instead of roses.

According to Headset, a data analytics service provider for the cannabis industry, marijuana sales on Mothers Day weekend in 2018 came in higher than average weekend sales.

The data from Headset revealed that most notable sales increases came on the Friday and Sunday of Mothers Day weekend. The most significant product category sales increases were observed across multiple states as well.

It must not be a coincidence that this particular weekend saw so many sales. It looks like more and more Americans, including mothers, are embracing the benefits of cannabis.
