This week four more stores across the state of Massachusetts were approved by the Cannabis Control Commission for retail recreational marijuana licenses.
The four stores are: Northeast Alternatives in Fall River, Theory Wellness in Great Barrington and Temescal Wellness locations in Hudson and Pittsfield. All four dispensaries already have medicinal marijuana.
Massachusetts has two recreational marijuana dispensaries operating in the cities of Leicester and Northampton. The third store in Salem, Alternative Therapies Group, is expected to open this weekend and only works by appointment. The place is booked until December 20th.
Retailers in Wareham and Easthampton have also secured final licenses to sell recreational marijuana.
