Despite the state of California making recreational marijuana sales legal, Coachella is still not on board with allowing marijuana at its music festival.

For Coachella 2019, pot enthusiasts better leave their marijuana at home. Coachella’s website lists a strict no-drug policy and says that Cannabis is not allowed on the music festival’s property.

The line is not limited to just Cannabis but Cannabis products as well. The festival is so strict that even prescription drugs must be shown at entry in a pill bottle with a label that matches the festival attendee’s ID.

Cigarettes however will be allowed as well as E-cigs and Vape Pens. No liquid vape refills are allowed though.

Indio is the town that hosts the annual musical festival says The Wrap, and the city has kept a no-marijuana policy.

It also speculated that the strict marijuana policy could be because of the festivals right-wing founder, Philip Anschutz.
